Privacy Policy
How we handle enquiry and form data.
This privacy policy explains how Horn Resins handles personal data submitted through this website. It applies to enquiries made through our contact and sample-request forms and by email.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Horn Resins, with an office at Karen Blixens Boulevard 7, 8220 Aarhus, Denmark, and a head office at Taleex Street, Hodan, Mogadishu, Somalia. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@hornresins.com.
2. What we collect
When you contact us or submit the sample-request form, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, company, work email, phone number, country, product interest, quantity, application and message. We do not collect special-category data, and we ask that you do not include any in your message.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide specifications, samples and quotations, and manage any resulting commercial relationship. Under the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate this website or handle enquiries on our behalf, and only under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms. Where such a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the essential functionality required to serve its pages. All fonts, styles and scripts are served from our own domain — no third-party font services (such as Google Fonts), content-delivery networks or external trackers are loaded, so no data is shared with such third parties simply by visiting the site. The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce website analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry information only as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet applicable legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or request restriction of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact contact@hornresins.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
