About us

Direct Frankincense and Myrrh Supply from Somalia

Collection, sorting, grading and export at origin — commercial coordination from Denmark.

About us

A Danish–Somali company working at both ends of the chain

Horn Resins was founded on a simple observation: Somalia produces some of the world's most sought-after frankincense and myrrh, yet professional buyers rarely receive it graded, documented and reliably supplied. The quality was never the problem — the supply chain was.

We are not a trading desk buying from whoever is cheapest this month. We work directly across the supply chain in Somalia — collection from harvesting communities, sorting and cleaning, grading against our indicative standard, batch control, export packing and shipping coordination. Our head office in Mogadishu coordinates operations at origin; our office in Aarhus, Denmark manages buyer relationships, samples, contracts and European logistics.

For buyers, the result is practical: one coordinated point of contact, specifications confirmed per lot, and a pre-shipment sample step so that the agreed quality is the quality that ships.

Operational structure

One coordinated supply operation

Horn Resins connects international buyers with an established Somali supply operation involved in collection, sorting, quality control, packing and export preparation.

Our established Somali supply operation provides FairWild-certified sourcing and halal-certified handling for covered products and activities and participates in the international aroma-trade industry through IFEAT membership. Certification scope and supporting documentation are confirmed for the relevant product and commercial order.
